Your physiognomy betrays a slight discomfort
Not the uneasiness of distaste or mistrust
But the discomfiture of a face reflecting your inner storm
Portraying an avalanche of emotions
Your mind is a riot of colours
Like a forest aflame with cherry blossom in full bloom
But only a hint of it touches your face
As you leave behind the remains of a trace
Some of your emotions want to scream
Some want to hold you in check
For you do not as yet know
What lies silently in wait
I do not want to let out even a whisper
Or ruffle your divinely slanted angelic face
For you look exquisitely beautiful
In this half expectant state
I shall breakdown shortly, I know
For I cannot see you suffer so
For my heart is leaping with butterflies
And crying out your name from the core
