I can live around my silences,
Immersed in a sea of contentment.
Watching the dawn break in the sky,
Singing alongside the jasmine blooming in full splendour,
Listening to the dew whispering its innermost secrets.
Existing without any expectation,
Without the anxiety of any outcome,
Without the headiness of ecstasy,
Or the dull ache of pathos.
Just observing life unfold in a million hues,
And feeling one with bountiful nature.
Swimming along with each vibration,
Where the mind stays absolutely quiet,
And my heart expands to encapsulate all that I thought was outside of me.
Till nothing external exists anymore,
And I get gradually absorbed in the sublimity of my own being.

Lovely Subir! But I wondered if “Retirement” might be a more apt title? Just kidding, of course!
