Hi, I’m Subir – a person with gentle values. Be kind to the lady, eat your food slowly, soft music, respect for elders…… in short, an accommodative and liberal mindset with a modicum of old world charm and grace. I don’t depend on my poetry for my living. I have recently retired from a corporate career, but that has not been my whole world. There’s a little world tucked away and known only to a select few, where poetry finds a prominent place. Writing poetry is rejuvenating, refreshing and energizes me immensely. For me, the only religion is the religion of humanity, nothing else matters; rest all are rituals, social customs – at times enjoyable but mostly best avoided. I like to probe at Metaphysics. It’s an ocean. Love, relationships, environment are the other areas of interest.
